With the PolderbitS Video Recorder you can record everything you watch on your computer screen.
A 10 minute video demo is available here.
Most video's playing back on websites like YouTube will automatically be detected and a small preview will show up in the Video Recorder:

This was a TV interview with Rudy Kok, the owner of PolderbitS Software. If you're interested, you can watch it here (Dutch spoken).
Nothing to setup, just click on the Record button to start recording. When the video ends, recording will automatically stop.
Recordings are saved as either WMV (Windows Media Video), or MP4 (on Windows 7 only).
You select this in the Options window:

The Video Recorder automatically detects most video's playing back in programs and web browsers that are included in the list. The most common programs and web browsers are included automatically, but you can add your own manually.
If the Video Recorder does not automatically detect video playing back, you can use screen area recording:

Here we use screen area recording to record a demo of the PolderbitS Sound Recorder.
By selecting the Microphone audio source, you can add your narration.
You can of course record any area on screen where you position the red frame around and if you select the "What you hear on Speakers" audio source, it records all audio you hear through the PC speakers.
You can for example also use screen area recording to record PowerPoint presentations and put them on DVD with the PolderbitS DVD Creator.
When recording has finished, it is stored on disk at a location of your choice and you can also playback the last ended recording from within the Video Recorder:

Clicking on the Play button opens your default video playback program for the chosen video recording format.
With the PolderbitS DVD Creator you can burn recorded videos on DVD and optionally even edit your recordings, for example by trimming the start and end.
